On the 28th of January 2020, Ireland's competent authority, the Irish Aviation Authority, officially published guidance material (GM) in the document PLAM.024 Recording of Flight Time and Formatting Acceptable to the Irish Aviation Authority.

The Irish Aviation Authority permits the use of electronic pilot logbooks provided that they meet the requirements of AMC1 FCL.050, and that any flights requiring endorsement and/or countersigning have been signed by the relevant license and/or certificate holder.
